TOUCH OF MODERN

Daily Emails

For over six years, I was the sole graphic designer at Touch of Modern, a curated men's e-commerce platform built on a daily flash sale model. Producing over 5,000 promotional emails in that time, each featuring multiple sales, products, and messages, I learned to design at speed and adapt quickly, without ever sacrificing quality or visual consistency.

Homepage Banners

These header banners were the first thing customers saw on Touch of Modern, so they had to communicate quickly and effectively in a limited space to prevent the products below from being pushed out of view. Running several days per week, they alerted customers to any active sales, shopping incentives, or curated product collections relevant to the moment.

Evolution Through A/B Testing

Over the years, I evolved ToMo's "Spotlight" email design template through A/B testing, pitting new design ideas against the status quo to improve email performance. These Spotlights were the first thing customers saw when opening an email, and they curated a collection of products worth highlighting above the auto-populated daily sales.

Print Inserts

Not all of ToMo's creative demands were digital. These postcards served to cross-promote the platform within a partner brand's shipments and guide customers through the curated contents of a mystery box after purchase. Each piece had to deliver information clearly and engagingly in a compact format, creating a seamless brand experience that extended beyond the screen and into the customer's hands.

The App at a Glance

As the first touchpoint for prospective users, the App Store and Google Play listings needed to clearly communicate the value of the Touch of Modern experience at a glance. I redesigned the full suite of screenshots to align with the current app, modernize the visual language, and meet evolving platform standards. The updated designs highlighted key features, reinforced brand identity, and guided users through the app experience.
