Pat, the owner of Oak & Ale, a neighborhood pub in Santa Cruz, approached me to refresh his brand and develop a line of merchandise for the bar. I explored a vintage direction with a rustic, handmade character that still felt contemporary and approachable, an approach Pat immediately responded to.

While he wanted several pieces of merchandise to embrace this aesthetic, he also wanted options with broader appeal, and he insisted that I incorporate a nod to the iconic "Cocktails & Dreams" neon sign that hangs above the bar. The final collection threads the needle between vintage, nostalgia, and modernity.
